Bulls Island Wing Dam

Just north of Stockton NJ, this dam looks the most like a real dam of all the dams on the river. You can access the dam from Bulls Island State Park camping area on the NJ shoreline. Good fishing opportunities exist above and below the dam and a bike trail runs on both sides of the river.

A pedestrian bridge links the bike trails 1/4 mile south of the dam. There is also a boat ramp in Bulls Island State Park with access to waters below the dam.

The water below the dam is very swift and should not be navigated with a boat. Extreme care should be taken when boating below the dam because of strong currents and rocks.
